No Regrets

Posted by Nic Billington under Uncategorized

I finally did my very first solo performance this past Sunday, and what an amazing experience it was.

I enjoyed every second of it, and most importantly, I have no regrets whatsoever. It wasn’t all fun and games though. The entire day tested our strength and determination. Everything that could go wrong on the day of the performance went wrong.

One by one, we made our way through all the obstacles that were thrown at us, and still managed to pull off one awesome show at the end of the day. The team, consisting of DJ Roxxi, Trish, Krystle and Martin, made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Thanks guys! By the way, you’re all crazy.

I’m looking forward to the next event!

Well, it has been officially confirmed that I’ll be joining DJ Roxxi on her DeckAdance tour.

The first show is this Sunday in Pietermaritzburg, so I am busy preparing myself for that at the moment. Krystle Temmerman will also be joining me on stage for our “Piece of Me” cover.

I’m looking very forward to the whole experience.

Taking Chances

Posted by Nic Billington under Uncategorized

Life is really good at the moment. I’m just taking chances and doing whatever I can to get myself out there. Even if it means going through a few hiccups every now and then. The most important thing is to maintain that positive attitude.

My first audition went surprisingly good. Unfortunately, on the day of the audition, I woke up with the flu but I didn’t let that stop me from going. It was really intimidating to see all the singers backstage, just waiting in anticipation for their turn to go on. That for me was the hardest part of the whole experience. Otherwise, it was rather exciting.

The two projects that I’m currently working towards are looking very promising. I cannot explain how long I’ve been dreaming about this! All will be revealed soon.
